Laurie and Lisa's Excellent Adventure

Jay surprised me and bought me a ticket to LA to visit my dear friend Lisa D. We have been friends since we were brand new moms with our babies back in 1982. We spent a wonderful 4 days shopping, talking, eating, driving, walking along the beach, sight seeing in San Capistrano and San Clemente and more talking. It was so relaxing and fun. Some of the highlights were: looking out over the ocean early in the morning on Saturday and spotting a pod of Orca Whales traveling south fairly close to land, eating my first fish taco, yummmm, shopping with the worlds best shopper, exploring the San Juan Capistrano Mission, and looking for sea glass with Lisa on the beach. It was over all too soon and I returned to my home with warm memories to look back on.
